Seminar and Mehfil-i-Mushaira in solidarity with people of Kashmir in Quaid-i-Azam Academy Karachi

As per Federal Government directives regarding celebrations of 75^th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) of Pakistan’s independence, Quaid-i-Azam Academy, Karachi held seminar and Mehfil-i-Mushaira in solidarity with people of Kashmir on Friday, the 4^th February, 2022 at Jinnah Hall, Quaid-i-Azam Academy. In introductory remarks, Mr Zahid Hussain Abro, Research Officer, QAA on behalf of QAA thanked the participants and said that the Kashmiri youth who are old enough to wear Sehra are wearing medals of martyrdom. Prof Abdul Hadi in his key note speech assured Kashmiri brethren and said that Pakistani nation will continue its moral and diplomatic support for Kashmiris and the day will come when Kashmiri people will get freedom from yoke of the Hindu Regime.

                             Prominent and leading poets including Mr. Khalid Moin, Mr. Alauddin Khanzada, Mr. Naeem Sameer, Mr. Iqbal Pirzada and Dr. Hina Ambreen Tariq attracted the audience with their enamoured poetry. Eminent poet Mr. Rashid Noor presided the Mushaira. At the end of ceremony, special prayers were made for freedom of Kashmir.
