Amir Muqam holds introductory meeting at National Heritage & Culture Division

ISLAMABAD, August 10, 2022: Engr. Amir Muqam, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Wednesday chaired a meeting of National Heritage and Culture Division (NH&CD) after assuming the charge of his office. His status is equivalent to the Federal Minister.

Senior Joint Secretary, Mr. Abdul Sattar Khokhar, Joint Secretary, Mr. Shehzad Durrani and other senior officers of the NH&CD welcomed the Adviser.

On this occasion, an introductory meeting was chaired by the Adviser to the PM. The adviser was given a presentation on the working of NH&CD and its attached departments.

The Adviser appreciated the working mechanism of NH&CD and assured complete support of the government for the promotion and protection of the national heritage in the country.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Rauf Parekh, Director General National Language Promotion Department (NLPD), Dr. Yusuf Khushk, Chairman, Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL), Dr. Abdul Azeem, Director General Department of Archeology and Museum (DOAM) and Director, Lok Virsa Anwar ul Haq.
