Conservation, Preservation of Allama Iqbal's Old Residence

Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan Prof? Dr. Baseera Ambreen and Director General DOAM Dr. Abdul Azeem visited the old residence of Allama Muhammad Iqbal located at 116-Macleod Road, Lahore in connection with the conservation and preservation of almost a century old building where Allama Iqbal resided for a long time. Engineer Muhammad Azeem who has prepared the plan for the project was also there. It is pertinent to mention that the federal government has approved a sum of Rupees 26.576 million for restoration of the said building and the visit of Director General DOAM and Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan was to review the mapping and start of conservation work of the project. Conservation work will start soon.
