Iqbal Academy Pakistan-Book Launching Ceremony-Urdu English News
The Book launching ceremony of Iqbal Academy Pakistan for the books published in the year 2021-22 was organized in the banquet hall of Aiwan Iqbal, Lahore. The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui. The vote of thanks was presented by Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen. The ceremony officially began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Prof. Seema Niaz and Naat Rasool Maqbool (peace be upon him) was presented by Rida Fatima. Dr. Tahir Hameed Tanoli performed the duty to convene the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui said that Iqbal Academy is the protector of the ideological borders of Pakistan. Today's event is a proof of this. The circle of Iqbal lovers is very wide. Allama Iqbal's message has spread to every corner of the world beyond color and race and even today the world is benefiting from his Thought. Allama's message is an argument for spirituality and guardianship. Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen said that Allama Iqbal is a great thinker and philosopher. His toughts are the foundation. Effective style, grandeur and reason are seen in his kalam. Iqbal's style seems to be the most unique. The effectiveness is unique due to the multiplicity of his studies. Iqbal liked to be recognized as a thinker. Dr. Aslam Ansari said that Allama Iqbal completed the lesson of self-knowledge. In Asrar Khudi, he said that self-realization is possible, while in Ramuz, he said that if you want to lose yourself, you should lose yourself in the goals of the nation. Aspects of ethics and self-control were explained. These aspects are of particular importance in today's world. Allama's message is universal but has great importance for Muslims. We should devote ourself to achieve the collective goals by going above personal ones. It is much needed in today's era. Dr. Abdul Haq said that since long I wanted my book to be published by the Iqbal Academy and to join the Iqbal tribe. He said that writing on Iqbal is not easy. There is so much stock and people have done a lot of research on every aspect. Still, numerous topics in Iqbaliyat need attention. Dr. Maqsood Jafri said that the center of Allama Iqbal's thought is freedom. The philosophy of self has liberated nations, created human freedom and self-reliance. Allama Muhammad Iqbal was a revolutionary poet. He stressed on unity. His message should reach the whole world. Dr. Khalida Jameel Nasir said that Islam is Iqbal's greatest theme. Dr. Arooba Siddiqui said that Iqbal's Sufism is not traditional. Iqbal's Sufi thought proves him monotheistic. Dr. Naghmana Kausar said that the essence of Allama Muhammad Iqbal's poetry is love. The people of knowledge cannot live without traveling to the people of love. Engineer Inayat Ali said there is a dire need to understand the thoughts of Allama Iqbal. Allama spent his entire life as a contented person. It is to mention that Iqbal Academy Pakistan published 16 new publications in English and Urdu in 2021-22.
