National Iqbal Conference 2022

Lahore (October 6, 2022) Every member of the Muslim Ummah knows that the existence of the world is due to Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the rise of Allama Iqbal's poetry is also from the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him). These views were expressed by the speakers while addressing the National Iqbal Conference 2022 organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan in connection with Rabi Awwal. The title of the conference was "Allama Iqbal and Love of Rasool". Renowned Iqbal scholar, researcher and Iqbal Ambassador Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqi presided over the conference. The guests of honor included Prof. Waheed-uz-Zaman Tariq and Dr. Samiha Raheel Qazi. The vote of thanks was presented by Director Iqbal Academy Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen. Iqbal scholars from all over the country presented their papers in the National Iqbal Conference. Among them, Dr. Muhammad Tahir Ramzan Kashmiri, Dr. Anila Saleem, Dr. Arooba Masroor Siddiqui, Dr. Rubina Yasmeen, Mr. Hasan Raza Iqbali and Mr. Mian Sajid Ali were included.

The conference officially began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The blessing of the recitation of the Holy Quran was achieved by Mr. Nadeem ul Hasan and Kiran Muhammad Deen recited Naat Rasool Maqbool (peace be upon him). Mr. Safdar Ali Kazmi presented Kalam Iqbal in a beautiful voice. Ms. Nureed Fatima performed the duties of the association.

Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqi while addressing said that the rise of Allama Iqbal's poetry is also the love of Rasool (peace be upon him). Iqbal repeatedly brings forward the historical victories of Muslims and proves that due to the lack of the spirit of love, the Caliphate of the world was withdrawn from the Muslim Ummah.

Director Iqbal Academy Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen thanked all the guests, speakers and participants. Talking to the audience, she said that West's attempt was always to remove the spirit of the Muhammadan religion from the Muslims. The relationship of the Muslim Ummah with Prophet (peace be upon him) can never be terminated. Those who believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him), the members of the caravan, every member of the Muslim Ummah knows that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the existence of the world.

Prof. Waheed-ul-Zaman Tariq said that the essence of Iqbal's thought is the Qur'an, Prophethood and Self which is shown in the form of insight and vision of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The source of Iqbal's philosophy is the verses of the Qur'an.

Dr. Samiha Raheel Qazi said that if you study Allama's life, personality, poetry and prose writing, then you will see a significant and golden chapter of Iqbal's study of Allama's relationship with the Prophet (peace be upon him), a heart and mental attachment and the passion of love. In every period of his life, the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him) comes out as a living, energetic and revolutionary spirit.

Dr. Tahir Hameed Tanoli said that Allama's love for Rasool (peace be upon him) must be taken forward.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir Ramzan Kashmiri said that the whole of Iqbal's poetry is a praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him). 

Dr. Arooba Siddiqui said that Allama Iqbal not only loves the Holy Prophet but also urges his addressees to adopt the love of Rasulullah (peace be upon him) and adopt a similar lifestyle.

Dr. Anila Saleem said that according to Iqbal, the world, this life, this religion, this faith, this Islam, everything is the blessing of the name of Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Dr. Rubina Yasmeen said that according to Iqbal, the source of constitution and law is only following the morals of Mustafa (peace be upon him) and the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

Mian Sajid Ali said that according to Iqbal, the grace of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) continues even today. Prophet (peace be upon him) is the leader of humanity until the Day of Judgment. The spiritual grace of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) continues in every field of life.

Professor Mohammad Tauseef said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal's love for Mustafa (peace be upon him) means following the Messenger (peace be upon him). the end of the conference, commemorative shields were presented to all the participants and a special prayer was organized.
