Mehfil-i-Mushaira and Pictorial Exhibition of leaders of Pakistan Movement in connection with 145th Birth Anniversary of Father of Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah

As per federal government initiative directives regarding celebrations of 75^th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) of Pakistan’s independence, Quaid-i-Azam Academy, Karachi and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Dewan University, Korangi and Department of Electronic Media and Publications jointly held seminar, “Mehfil-i-Mushaira” and Pictorial Exhibition of leaders of Pakistan Movement in connection with 145^th Birth Anniversary of Father of the Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Thursday, 23^rd December, 2021 at SBB Dewan University. Mr. Ashique Hussain Shaikh, Director, Department of Electronic Media and Publications briefed the audience about pictorial exhibition of leaders of Pakistan Movement. Lt. General (R) Syed Pervez Shahid said that Quaid-i-Azam considered women as most powerful; therefore, they should fulfill Quaid’s dreams.         

Prominent and leading poets including Mr. Khalid Moin, Mr. Alauddin Khanzada, Mr. Naeem Sameer, Mr. Abbas Mumtaz, Ms. Ambreen Haseeb Ambar and Dr. Hina Ambreen Tariq attracted the audience with enamored poetry. Afterwards, Students of Dewan University read out Quaid’s sayings/messages of daily life. At the end of ceremony, shields were presented to the poets and Fateha was offered for activists of Pakistan.
