Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi inaugurated the newly established Prehistoric Gallery at the National Museum Karachi

Karachi, May 10? 2026-Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi inaugurated the newly established Prehistoric Gallery at the National Museum Karachi during his visit to the museum on Saturday. The gallery showcases valuable archaeological artifacts and historical material reflecting the ancient civilizations and prehistoric heritage of the region. The Minister appreciated the efforts of the museum administration and experts for preserving and promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural and historical legacy.

During the visit, the Federal Minister also met a foreign delegation headed by the Director General Archaeology, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at the National Museum Karachi. Matters relating to archaeology, cultural heritage preservation and promotion of historical sites came under discussion. The Minister highlighted the importance of international cooperation and professional collaboration for the protection and promotion of Pakistan’s archaeological heritage and tourism potential.
