Secretary, National Heritage and Culture Division, Mr. Hassan Nasir Jamy, inaugurated a Turkmenistan Corner in the Museum, established by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) to preserve its 50-year historical legacy. The corner was established to mark the 300th birth anniversary of Turkmenistan's great poet, Magtymguly Pyragi. To mark the occasion, an International Scientific and Practical Conference, "Classics of Oriental Wisdom : The Intellectual Legacy of Magtymguly Pyragi and Allama Iqbal" was also organized at AIOU in collaboration with Turkmenistan Embassy and the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, where the Secretary, National Heritage and Culture Division was the chief guest.
