Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, inaugurated the “Beyond the Syllabus” Lecture Series at the National Library of Pakistan (NLP), Islamabad. The inaugural lecture, “Knowing Pakistan: Culture, Society and the Making of an Effective Civil Servant,” was delivered by Mr. Asad Rehman Gilani, Federal Secretary, National Heritage & Culture Division, on 1 October 2026. The lecture series will feature two sessions every month by renowned scholars, academics, writers and senior bureaucrats, providing CSS aspirants with knowledge and insights beyond the examination syllabus.
